KUALA LUMPUR: Police are currently tracking down a car driver who obstructed an ambulance's path on the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) highway, here, yesterday.
Ampang Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Azam Ismail said they have not received any police reports regarding the incident so far.
"However, the owner or driver of the car will be traced for further action," he said when contacted.
This was following a 40-second video that went viral, showing a Toyota Camry refusing to give way to an ambulance despite being directed to do so.
Even though the emergency siren was blaring during the incident, the driver continued driving fast in the right lane, refusing to yield to the emergency vehicle.
The video, uploaded on X by Info Semasa official, has garnered various reactions from netizens.
