KOTA BARU: A woman had a miraculous escape after losing control of her Perodua Alza, causing it to crash into an electric pole on Jalan Kampung Sireh.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Rosdi Daud said the incident happened around 6.30pm, with the woman reportedly alone in the car.
"The woman emerged unscathed in the incident. Fellow motorists helped in extracting her from the damaged vehicle," he said, adding that the car has significant damage to its front end.
A police team was dispatched to the scene to investigate the accident, as per Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959, which pertains to failure to exercise due control over the movements of a vehicle.
