MyRumah property showcase returns with more homes, more bargains

KUALA LUMPUR: The MyRumah property showcase – Malaysia’s leading property platform offering dream homes at affordable prices – is back.

Organised by the New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Bhd (NSTP), the second annual installment of the event will showcase a range of properties, as well as afford visitors with advice from property experts on a range of topics, from home ownership to housing loans.

The showcase will be held at Komtar JBCC in Johor Baru, from May 5 to 7, from 10am to 6pm.

Five major property developers, including Johor Land, Andaman Group Astaka Padu, SKS Cocoa Valley and YPJ Builders, are scheduled to participate in the event.

Renowned speakers and real estate experts expected to give talks throughout MyRumah include Vince Chia from Diligent Planners Sdn Bhd, Aziz Ahmad from Hartanahguru.com, Alan Poon from Superior Wealth Mastery, Dr Daniele Gambero from REI Group of Companies, and Khalil Adis from Khalil Adis Consultancy.

In a statement released today, NSTP chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Jalil Hamid said MyRumah is shaping up to be the preferred venue for property consultation, where existing homeowners and potential buyers get expert advice from developers and property gurus.

“We hope it will be a successful event for both parties; the consumers and developers.

“The consumers will get better options and can make informed decision to purchase and own their dream house, while the developers can display their quality products and services, and offer buyers a good deal,” he said.

Abdul Jalil added that those planning to buy property, especially first-time homebuyers, should seize the opportunity to visit MyRumah, as most of the properties on offer are priced below RM500,000.
