PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will see an increase by four sen across the board from midnight, tonight.
The new prices for RON95 will be RM2.12, up from RM2.08 per litre; RON97 will retail at RM2.40, up from RM2.36; while diesel will be priced at RM2.03 per litre, up from RM1.99.
The new prices will be in effect from May 25 until May 31.
The new weekly price was posted on the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry’s Twitter account today.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was implemented in April this year.
A managed monthly float system for fuel prices had been in effect since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
