KUALA LUMPUR: The U.S. Embassy here will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day in the United States.
Each year, the last Monday in May is set aside to honour and remember the sacrifices of American soldiers and veterans.
Memorial Day is marked with solemn observances, speeches, as well as parades and backyard barbecues, as Americans mark this occasion with family and friends.
All Embassy services, including visa and American passport and notary services, will resume operation on Tuesday.
