KUALA LUMPUR: Fuel prices are set to go down across the board tonight.
RON 95 and RON 97 petrol will be priced at RM2.10 and RM2.38 per litre, respectively. This marks a two sen decrease from last week’s prices.
Diesel prices, meanwhile, will go down by one sen, at RM2.02 per litre.
The new fuel prices for the period of June 1 to June 7, will come into effect by midnight tonight.
The prices were announced by the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry via its Twitter account this evening.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was implemented in April this year.
A managed monthly float system for fuel prices had been in effect since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
