SEREMBAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak this evening joined hundreds of people to search for authentic Negri Sembilan delicacies for buka puasa at the Taman Paroi Jaya Ramadan bazaar.
Accompanying him were Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and state executive councillors.
Najib spent about 20 minutes at the bazaar and bought the state's famous fish ‘gulai lemak cili padi’, grilled chicken, pulut panggang, satar, lempeng and kuih lopeh, among others.
Excitement was evident on the faces of the traders, were delighted at having the prime minister visit their stalls.
Bazaar visitors too didn't miss the chance to pose for 'wefies' with Najib during the walkabout, with the PM taking his time to speak to shoppers and traders.
At the event, Najib also presented bubur lambuk to the visitors.
He later proceeded to the Masjid Kariah Paroi for buka puasa and terawih prayers.
