Three Form Six students perish in Pasir Puteh car crash

PASIR PUTEH: Three Form Six students were killed in a two-car collision at Km26 of the Kota Baru-Kuala Terengganu road near Kampung Bukit Tanah here early this morning.

The 1.25am incident also left three others injured.

Pasir Puteh district police chief Deputy Superintendent Abdul Rozak Muhamad said the three students killed were identified as Ahmad Amirul Razali, Amir Amjad Zuhar and Che Muhammad Syafiq Che Suriadi, all 19.

He said it was believed that the car with the students, coming from the direction of Kota Baru, lost control and veered into the opposite lane before colliding with another car.

"The driver of the other car and a passenger were injured and both were sent to the Tengku Anis Hospital for treatment," he said.
