BACHOK: Hundred of relatives and friends paid their last respects today to the couple and their son who were murdered at Wakaf Mek Zainab near Kota Baru on Wednesday.
They flocked to the victims' home in Kampung Balai here as early as 8am.
According to a relative Choo Mei Lee, the three bodies would be laid to rest this afternoon.
Also seen at the home were the couple's three other children - Kha Xing Fei, 19; Kha Xing Rhuu, 15; and eight-year-old Xing Shyen.
In the 2.30pm incident, trader, Kha Eng Ni, 42; his wife, Chua Joo Seok, 37; and their son, Kha Zee Hanz, 13, were found murdered at the house in Taman Bahagia.
Xing Rhu, however, survived in the attack.
Following the attack, police are looking for a 31-year-old suspect identified as Sharat s/o Eh Wang @ Pot, from Kampung Jubakar Darat, Tumpat.
