Sabah CM, cabinet ministers pay last respects to Datuk Siringan Gubat [NSTTV]

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government extended condolences to family of the late Sabah Resource Development and Information Technology Minister Datuk Siringan Gubat.

Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman and an entourage of cabinet ministers paid their last respects to the Paginatan assemblyman at the Fook Lu Siew funeral parlour here.

"I and saddened with the loss of a friend and cabinet minister.

"The late minister had executed his duty well, was hardworking and dedicated.

"He had helped to empower human capital by giving chances and training especially the young people,"he said.

"I have met his wife (Datin Rozelind Wong) and extended my condolences to her. May the family be strong in a difficult time like this."

Also present were Deputy Chief Ministers Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan and Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah, and state Secretary Tan Sri Sukarti Wakiman.

Siringan died at 10.57pm last night after he was rushed to hospital for having breathing difficulties at home.

He left behind five children and a granddaughter.
