Watch: LSF deployed to guard the gates at Subang Airport [NSTTV]

SHAH ALAM: The Light Strike Force (LSF) has been deployed to guard the gates at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang Airport) this morning as the crowd here begins to swell.

Some 100 people have gathered at the airport since 5am in what is believed to be a bid to block Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor from leaving the country.

It was reported yesterday by Astro Awani, quoting an unnamed source, that Najib and his wife will board a private plane from Indonesia today.

The plane was expected to land at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport at 6am and scheduled to fly to the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta at 10am.

The crowd took to gathering at the airport this morning with one person telling NSTP that he is there to 'stop the two from leaving the country'.

Earlier, the crowd surrounded a white Toyota Vellfire, asking those in the car to come out and show themselves.

Police had to step in to control the situation when the crowd began acting aggressive.

After ten minutes, it was discovered that the occupant of the car was former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim.

The vehicle then proceeded to make its way into the airport area.

Meanwhile, on his Twitter account, Najib clarified that he will be taking a short break to spend time with his family.
