According to Kepong parliamentarian Lim Lip Eng, an individual had approached him, offering to give a RM10,000 reward to anyone who can provide legit information on the whereabouts of the Sungai Besar Umno division chief.
Lim posted this on his Twitter account today.
Jamal’s failure to cooperate with police investigation after disappearing from the Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital on May 25 has led to an arrest warrant issued against him.
Rumour has it that Jamal had escaped to Indonesia.
Home Affairs Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the government had sought the help of Indonesian authorities to track down Jamal.
