ALOR STAR: Five Form Three students at Sekolah Menengah Keat Hwa Jalan Kuala Kedah here were injured when part of the school’s roof was blown off during a violent storm this morning.
The five girls were struck by debris and suffered injuries to their hands, heads, legs and torsos in the 7.15am incident.
They were rushed to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB), accompanied by several teachers, for treatment.
It is understood that the 15-year-old victims had just arrived at school for the morning session when strong winds and heavy rain began lashing the area.
