AMPANG: A mechanic is appealing to the public for help as his two month-old baby, Muhammad Fawwaz Wafiuddin, needs to undergo surgery for heart valve problems.
Wahyuddin Alimuddin, 31, and his wife, a housewife, are from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
He said they were unable to bear the procedure, which costs RM80,000 at Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
“Fawwaz was two weeks when we took him to Hospital Likas, Kinabalu, due to respiratory problems.
“The doctor diagnosed Fawwaz with heart disease. We were informed that he needed immediate surgery.”
All cheques should be made payable to Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund with the patient’s name written on the reverse side of the cheque.
The cheque should be sent to Group Corporate Communications Department, Media Prima Bhd, Level 3, Anjung Liku, Balai Berita, 31, Jalan Riong, 59100 Bangsar Kuala Lumpur.
Donations may also be deposited to Maybank current account number 5141-0532-3170. Indicate the patient’s name on the Recipients Reference or Other Payment Details fields.
