PORT DICKSON: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan once again stressed that the sodomy case involving PKR president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in 2008 really happened.
During one of his campaign trails at Kamping Teluk Pelanduk last night, Saiful said he swore on the Quran three times to prove his truthfulness.
“I lodged a police report and swore three times at the Federal Territory Mosque, in Mecca, and at the court. Anward never did the same.
“It is true. The sodomy took place,” Saiful said in his reply to elderly woman who wanted him to clarify if the act had taken place or if it was a slander.
On Anwar’s full royal pardon, Saiful said only those who were guilty would receive it.
“I need to stop him (from becoming a prime minister) ... we just want the truth,” he told the small crowd.
Anwar received the royal pardon by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on May 16.
