KUALA LUMPUR: Thunder storms, heavy shower and strong winds are expected to occur in the waters of Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor until 1am tomorrow (Oct 8).
According to the statement issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department, a similar situation was also expected to occur in the waters of Phuket, Melaka Straits, Bunguran and Condore during the same period.
This will result in strong winds of up to 50 kilometres per hour and choppy seas with waves reaching a height of 3.5 metres and posing a danger to small boats, the statement said. – BERNAMA
