LANGKAWI: LangkawiFM radio deejay Norhissham Azmi, 47, passed away this morning at his home in Kampung Ayer Hangat, here.
Known as DJ Sham to his listeners, Norhissham was said to have suffered a heart attack while he was getting ready to leave for the radio station at 5.50am.
His wife, Sabrina Yaakob, 45, said he breathed his last with his family by his side after complaining of breathing difficulties.
"Previously he went for a medical checkup and was also taking medication for cholesterol and heart.
"He will be laid to rest at the Kampung Bohor Merah Muslim cemetery in the Ayer Hangat area," she said when contacted.
Norhissham leaves behind his wife and five children.
