KUANTAN: Pas can resolve the gay sex video scandal in a week, party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang claimed today.
According to him, the easiest way to deal with the issue was to locate the producer of the video.
“In this era of dirty politics, (we see that) it is further tainted by a party that engages in immoral activities such as sex videos.
“They did this just to sabotage each other instead of thinking about what’s best for the people.
“If it were to happen to Pas, we could have settled everything in just a week...
“Leave it to (Pas secretary-general Datuk) Takiyuddin (Hassan) to settle it.
“Don’t go looking for the actors. Find the producer. It’s not that difficult,” he said in his winding up speech at Pas’ 65th Muktamar here today.
Several video clips, which showed two men engaging in sexual acts, were distributed to the media by unknown sources.
Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz, who was the senior private secretary to Deputy Primary Industries Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, has admitted that he was one of the individuals in the videos and that they were recorded without his knowledge.
He also named Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Mohamad Azmin Ali as the other man in the video.
Azmin, who is PKR deputy president, has denied the allegation, saying it was a PKR inside job to destroy his reputation and political career.
