JOHOR BARU: Pictures of two children on a moving car at Taman Scientex, Pasir Gudang have gone viral on social media, and Netizens were mortified.
One photo showed the two boys sitting on the back of the car, with one drinking mineral water, at a traffic light junction. In the second photo, the children are seen imitating ‘Superman’, with both of them clinging to the top of the car while the vehicle is moving.
A video of the ‘stunt’ has also gone viral on Facebook. The five-second video posted by Chitran Tamil Chelvan even shows the driver running a red light at a junction.
Many slammed the children and the driver for their reckless act, saying that they should not tempt fate.
Meanwhile, Seri Alam police chief Superintendent Ismail Dollah when contacted said the police have received a report on the incident.
The police are in the midst of identifying the driver and the children involved.
“We’re asking for their cooperation to turn themselves in at the nearest police station or Seri Alam police headquarters to facilitate investigation.
“We also would like to ask any witness of the incident to come forward, or contact the headquarters at 07-3864222 to assist in the investigation,” he said.
