MUAR: Home Affairs Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Dr. Saharudin were in town recently, and stopped by a quaint stall (warong) in Sungai Raya for breakfast, much to the surprise of staff and patrons.
Stall owner Noraini A Rahman said she was very thrilled and honoured that both the VIPs had made time to have breakfast at her warong, famous for its lontong dish.
“More excitingly, I had the rare chance of meeting them up close and personal", she added.
Additionally, Noraini saw a more than usual breakfast customers even after the ministers left.
The session was one of the "meet the community" visits by both special guests. The kampung folks and village heads enjoyed good food, a meaningful community meet, and selfies with the ministers, an opportunity not to be missed and forever cherished.
