KL and Kedah players to get paid for Hari Raya?

KUALA LUMPUR: KL City and Kedah footballers are expected to have a happy Hari Raya after all.

They should get all the salaries owing to them by March 29.

This was stated by Malaysian Football League (MFL) chief executive officer Datuk Stuart Ramalingam today.

Stuart said MFL has given KL City and Kedah deadlines of March 15 and March 29 to settle the salary arrears.

"We want to ensure that all the salaries owing are settled before the end of March. They (KL City and Kedah) need to prove to us (of payments made)."

Failures to comply with the MFL order will result in a players' transfer ban, fines or the clubs' playing licence revoked.
