According to a Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) official, Anuar, who is the party’s secretary-general, is now in stable condition at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

"He is awake and can speak. He is okay.

"We were told that he started complaining that he was not feeling well in the evening," he said.

The official added that a CT scan revealed that Anuar, who is the Temerloh Member of Parliament, had suffered a brain haemorrhage.
