RM2,000 bonus for Negri Sembilan civil servants

SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan government has announced a bonus of one month’s basic salary or a minimum of RM2,000 for its state civil servants.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the bonus would be paid before the end of the year.

He said the payments, amounting to a total of RM11 million, would be paid to all 3,600 state civil servants, regardless of grade.

“The state government recognises the hard work, support and contribution of the state’s civil servants in helping to implement state policies and development projects to the people as well as to develop the state,” he said.

On top of that, eligible civil servants in the state are also entitled to interest-free loans for vehicle and computer purchases, effective next year.

“We understand that these two are important for them to smoothen their daily work.

“Many civil servants today have to resume their work at home so we hope that they can benefit from these offering included in the state’s 2020 Budget,” he said after tabling the Negri Sembilan 2020 Budget at Wisma Negeri, here, today.

“We hope that this special assistance will encourage our civil servants to perform their duties with more dedication and achieve more success in the future.

“I hope they will also work harder to enhance productivity and improve the delivery of quality service to the people,” he said.
