KEMAMAN: Flooding at three villages here forced 245 people from 65 families to seek shelter at relief centres in the district.
The evacuation of residents of Kampung Padang Kubu, Kampung Batu 9 and Kampung Telok Kalong began at 4pm on Friday.
In an alert issued at 1am today, the state Disaster Management Operation Centre said 60 people were evacuated to the Padang Kubu civic centre; 21 victims were transferred to the Kampung Batu 9 civic hall; and 164 people were moved to the DITC Telok Kalong.
