Tabung Haji introduces new form to ease haj application appeal

KUALA LUMPUR: Tabung Haji has introduced Borang Rayuan Haji (Haj Appeal Form) to assist pilgrims on their haj application appeal process for this year’s haj pilgrimage.

Tabung Haji in a statement said the form would give way to those who would want to appeal for the haj pilgrimage this year, and if chosen, the applicants would have the option to pay the full package price at RM22,900 to perform Muassasah haj.

“Previously, Tabung Haji had offered the option to apply for the Muassasah Haj pilgrimage and also if the pilgrims volunteered to pay in full. If they did not choose to pay in full, the RM9,980 fare remains.

“The haj aid scheme will be continued for first-time Muassasah Hajj pilgrims as well as those who have successfully appealed for their haj application and they would only need to pay RM9,980 just like previous years.

“The haj aid package, however, would prioritise those who appealed their applications made under mahram (male chaperone) appeal, for the elderly and their helper as well as those who had been chosen to perform their hajj in previous year but had to postpone the trip,” it read.

It also said priority will be given to those who are waiting for their turn to perform haj due the following year, 2021.

Those who wish to make an appeal for their application can obtain the form at their nearest Tabung Haji branch.

Completed forms must be submitted to the nearest 125 branches, including Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs) or by post, and Tabung Haji will be issuing a certificate of receipt of the haj appeal in the year made and the appeal will then be submitted into the Tabung Haji system for processing.

Public can call up Tabung Haji customer service line (THCC) on 03-6207 1919, for any further inquiries regarding the pilgrimage appeal.
