KUALA LUMPUR: Residents and staff at old folks' homes in the country are at high-risk of contracting Covid-19, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today.
He said 21 residents and staff at nursing homes have tested positive for the coronavirus out of 9,122 samples taken to date.
"Tests had been conducted at 267 old folks homes so far.
"The number of positive cases is 21, or 0.2 per cent (of those tested).
"Eighteen (85.7 per cent) were asymptomatic," he wrote on his Facebook page.
