"Through existing RMS terminals and systems infrastructure at over 2,400 7-Eleven and 1,600 99 SpeedMart stores, Indah Water utility bills can be paid with cash or cashless payment solutions.

"Customers can also pay for IWK utility bills via Razer Pay e-wallet, downloaded to their smartphone, and making the payment with just a few clicks," the statement read.

Razer Fintech CEO Limeng Lee said they are committed to delivering practical financial solutions for the public.

"Under this partnership, we continue to bridge the gap between offline and online channels. We also view this as a necessary step in our efforts to go paperless for the environment, as well as keeping people safe during these unsure times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"This comes as Razer Fintech recently introduced a new value-adding bill payment feature, allowing customers to pay for services including their Astro subscription, TNB bill, phone postpaids, local council tax assessment, and water bills through their Razer Pay e-wallet app," he said in a statement today.

IWK chief executive officer Narendran Maniam said the partnership with Razer Fintech will be beneficial for customers by helping them avoid long queues and giving them the convenience to pay at their neighbourhood stores.

7-Eleven and 99 SpeedMart are the key partners of Razer Fintech which have supported a multitude of offline to online payment solutions from Razer. Razer Pay and Razer Fintech's e-wallet are also supported at both stores.
