1 Covid-19 case in Kulim

KUALA LUMPUR: Kulim folks on social media have been frantically sharing various unverified information since last night pertaining to a potential Covid-19 positive case recorded in the district.

Checks by the New Straits Times with a legitimate source confirmed that a factory worker in Kulim had infact tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

"However, the additional information about the places said to have been visited by the patient is fake," the source said.

Kulim has not recorded a positive Covid-19 case in a while and has remained a green zone for quite some time, with the most recent period of no cases from July 21 until yesterday.

Members of the public are advised against sharing unverified information.
