Strengthened presence in Malaysia

One of the largest oleochemical players in Malaysia, Evyap Sabun Malaysia Sdn Bhd owns and operates a vertically integrated oleochemicals manufacturing plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor, to produce fatty acids, soap noodles, glycerine and bar soaps.

It is fully owned by the Evyap Group, a longstanding and well-established personal care company with a strong market presence in Turkey, Middle East, Russia, Ukraine and exports to more than 100 countries. The plant commenced production in 2015. The facility boasts an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of high-grade oleochemicals and soap noodles, which are the building blocks of major personal care products such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other goods for ancillary industries.

The company is planning to invest in new production facilities and additional capacity in upcoming years to strengthen its footprint in Malaysia and South East Asia.

Evyap brands Duru, Arko, Activex and Fax can be found in Malaysia as of 2019, in more than 1,500 stores nationwide.
