KUALA LUMPUR: The Social Security Organisation (Socso) headquarters in Jalan Ampang here will be closed until Friday for sanitisation purposes, after a staff tested positive for Covid-19.
Socso chief executive Datuk Seri Dr Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohammed confirmed this in a statement today.
"The staff is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
"Following that, the Socso headquarters, as well as all offices and business premises at Menara Socso, Jalan Ampang, will be closed from Monday (Dec 14) to Friday (Dec 18) for disinfection works.
"The case is being handled in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the Health Ministry," the statement read.
Dr Mohammed Azman said Socso will continue to work with the authorities such as the Health Ministry to curb the spread of Covid-19 and ensuring the safety of their staff and customers who had visited the headquarters.
