KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the public who wish to cross state or district borders for necessary reasons are now required to fill in the Movement Control Order (MCO) Movement Permit Forms or Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) Movement Permit Forms.
The National Security Council via its official Telegram channel today said the public could download the forms either from the same Telegram channel or from the police's website.
The NSC (MKN) also sent the link of where people can download the forms.
It said the requirements of these forms followed the announcement that was made by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Monday (Jan 11) on the the latest MCO, as well as the CMCO and RMCO.
It said these new movement control orders take effect from today till Jan 26 as an effort by the government to curb the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic.
"Any individual who wants to cross-state or district borders are required to fill in the MCO Movement Permit Form or CMCO Movement Permit Form to obtain permission from the police before making the move.
"The Movement Control Order (MCO) movement permit form or Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) movement form can be downloaded through the police's official portal and official social media account.
"Complete the form in two copies and submit both completed forms at the police station for approval," the NSC said.
