Woman with Covid-19 dies in front of Taman Sentosa clinic

KLANG: A woman who collapsed before dying in front of a clinic in Taman Sentosa, here, was confirmed to be Covid-19 positive.

Klang Selatan police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsul Amar Ramli confirmed receiving a report on the incident.

This came after pictures of the woman lying in front of the clinic went viral on social media.

In the 9.45am incident yesterday, the local woman, who was with a sibling, wanted to seek treatment at the clinic.

"While in front of the clinic, the woman suddenly collapsed and became unconscious. An ambulance team which arrived at the scene confirmed that she had died.

"Her body was brought to the Shah Alam Hospital where a Rapid Test Kit result revealed that she was Covid-19 positive," said Amar in a statement last night.

He added that medical checks showed the woman also suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure.

Amar said the case was classified as Covid-19 Sudden Death Report.
