GEORGE TOWN: A woman died, believed to have been stung by a bee, while hiking at Bukit Gambir here this evening.
Acting Northeast district police chief Superintendent V. Saravanan said the woman, in her late 50s, died while being rushed to the Penang Hospital.
"We received a call from a doctor at the hospital about a woman who was brought in dead.
"A post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow to ascertain her cause of death," he said tonight.
A 10-second video footage has gone viral showing several individuals administering the CPR on the woman.
