KOTA BARU: A total 22 Covid-19 vaccination centres (PPV) have been set up by the state health department for the people to get inoculated against Covid-19.
The PPVs were set up in 10 districts in Kelantan including Tumpat, Kuala Krai and Kota Baru.
Among the PPVs were Dewan Sri Tunjong, Dewan Manik Urai, Dewan Samad Gul and Dewan Putra SBJ.
The state health department said that those who failed to attend their vaccination appointments could contact the centres directly.
In a Facebook post, it also stated that 11.21 per cent of 1.2 million Kelantanese or more than 500,000 individuals have received both doses of the vaccine.
The figure was recorded as of July 25 with Kota Baru recording the highest number with more than 170,000.
Meanwhile, a check at one of the PPVs in Jalan Kuala Krai, Kota Baru showed that about 200 individuals had begun to queue up from as early as 8am today.
New Covid-19 cases in the state continued to increase with 615 cases recorded yesterday, bringing the cumulative figure to 41,758.
Kelantan recorded nine new clusters yesterday including Taman Jaya Indah, Kampung Banggol Kemian, Kampung Pak Simpol and Kampung Paya Rambai.
Two new deaths were recorded yesterday bringing the cumulative figure to 267.
