Health, childhood immunisation records now on MySejahtera app

IPOH: Health and childhood immunisation records are now available on the MySejahtera application.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said beginning today, people who have updated their MySejahtera app could gain access to these new features.

"This (updated version of the app) allows health record results from health screenings to be displayed on your phone.

"A new feature for childhood immunisation records, starting with babies born on July 1, 2022, is also on the application," he said at the opening speech at the state-level Health Malaysia National Agenda and National Health Screening Initiative at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah here today.

Khairy said this was the ministry's initial step for the MySejahtera platform to be used for the digitisation of health information.

"This is for the first phase. For the second phase, the pink book (appointment book) owned by a mother and their infants (to record infant development) will also be included in MySejahtera.

"The red book or blood donation book (National Blood Transfusion Service) will also be available on the app," he said, adding that more features would be installed in the application soon.

On the possibility of data in the new features being leaked, Khairy gave his assurances that it would not occur.

"MySejahtera data has never been hacked. With more features, we have increased its security level and will continue to do so to ensure the personal information in the application will not be leaked or hacked.

"This data is being kept by the ministry and not by other quarters. The data will only be shared if you agree to it."
