Win the fight against acne

SKIN and body care brand Himalaya Malaysia has launched its latest campaign that aims to foster confidence and self-esteem among young adults.

Called 'Win The Fight', it's a call for young people to channel confidence at a time when they might be facing skin issues, like acne, which frequently afflicts teenagers and young adults.

Himalaya Malaysia marketing representative Mandy Wong says the campaign aims to inspire youth to believing in themselves.

"The #WinTheFight initiative was designed to empower the younger generation with confidence. There is no reason to hide or cover up their acne.

"We work with several personalities to share their acne experience, while emphasising how it was never a barrier to their success," she explains.

Malaysian former artistic gymnast, Farah Ann Abdul Hadi, who overcame her acne issues when she was younger, is the brand's official ambassador.

The campaign features four face care products for acne-prone skin: Purifying Neem Face Wash, Purifying Neem Face Scrub, Neem Face Pack and Acne-n-Pimple Cream which also features neem and turmeric as the main ingredients, known for their antibacterial elements and can help leave the skin smooth and clear.

Wong says Himalaya will also be pushing its Hair Care Protein 5 Series, which features its best-selling Anti Hair Fall shampoo.

"The shampoo can help with hair fall six washes, for chemically and heat-damaged hair," she says.

"This will be followed by the Anti Dandruff collection, which combines the power of tea tree oil with herbal concoction remedies based on Ayurvedic and modern science."

The company also announced its Money Back Guarantee scheme to customers this month, giving full refund --terms and conditions apply-- should the products they buy fall short in efficacy.

Himalaya carries personal care, baby care, wellness, nutrition, and animal health products, among others and they are available at Himalaya stores and selected pharmacies nationwide.
