KUALA LUMPUR: The Finance Ministry today confirmed there was a small fire that broke out at its dump site at 2.26pm.
The dump site is located at level G of the Treasury's main block.
Fire and Rescue Department managed to put out the flame before it spread to other areas.
"No one was injured and no losses was reported.
"The Finance Ministry is still waiting for the official report from the relevant authorities on what caused the fire," it said in a statement,
Earlier, a short video went viral on social media showing smoke and a fire engine at the ministry with the caption "Ada kebakaran di MOF" (Fire at MoF).
