SEPANG: A teenager was killed after crashing his motorcycle into a buffalo along Jalan Dengkil Air Hitam, here, this morning.
Sepang police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said in the 1.30am incident, the 16-year-old boy, who was riding a Yamaha Legenda motorcycle, was killed on the spot due to head injuries.
According to a preliminary investigation, he said the victim had crashed into the buffalo when the animal suddenly crossed the road.
The victim was riding alone from Dengkil to his house in Taman Dengkil Jaya.
"Paramedics pronounced the victim had died on the spot due to injuries to the head," he said.
Wan Kamarul added that the victim's body was taken to Putrajaya Hospital for a post-mortem.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. - Bernama
