KUANTAN: An Aedes Berwolbachia mosquito was released during the mosquito release project at Taman Impianku today.
Berwolbachia bacteria are inserted into the Aedes aegypti mosquito to prevent the reproduction of the dengue virus in the mosquito. This method is implemented as one of the alternative approaches for the control and prevention of dengue fever in the release locality. BERNAMA PIC
