JOHOR BARU: The Jalan Kulai-Kota Tinggi stretch heading towards Felda Ulu Tebrau has been closed to all vehicles following a landslide at Jalan Sungai Tiram-Ulu Tebrau, in Kulai, today (Jan 25).
According to the Kulai District Public Works Department, Police and Malaysian Civil Defence Force are monitoring the situation and will prepare a temporary Traffic Management Plan for the area.
"Checks revealed that soil movements are still occurring.
"Traffic diversion signs have been put up in the area and the local authorities have covered the landslide site with canvas to prevent further soil erosion," the department posted on its Facebook page.
The public should plan their journey and use alternative routes to reach their respective destinations. — Bernama
