PORT KLANG: A woman, who was reported missing after a fire burned down three houses in Bagan Teo Chew, Pulau Ketam near here, was found dead today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the body of the 49-year-old victim was found stranded near a pillar of one of the damaged houses after the search for the woman resumed at about 10pm.
It was reported that the woman was feared missing in the fire which burned down the houses this afternoon.
The woman was said to be in the house when efforts to battle the raging fire were ongoing at 12.50pm.
The houses were 90 per cent destroyed. Also destroyed in the fire were three fishing boats docked near one of the damaged houses.
