BANGI: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim chose Bandar Baru Bangi as his latest location to meet the people before performing Friday prayers today.
He arrived around 12.52pm at Restoran Mak Kimbong and was welcomed by Bangi member of parliament Syahredzan Johan. Hundreds of folk were gathered around the area to welcome the prime minister.
Children, especially, were elated to be able to meet Anwar up close.
After the lunch, he is scheduled to perform Friday prayers at Surau Al-Kauthar.
