KUCHING: On Jan 20, residents of Taman Sri Wangi and surrounding areas can exchange their recyclable goods for cash.
According to a Facebook post by Kuching North City Hall, locals can bring a variety of recyclable items to Jalan Menggris from 9am to 12pm, where they can exchange them for cash.
Participants can bring an array of items, including paper and cardboard, car batteries, plastic goods, iron and aluminium, used cooking oil, and electronic equipment.
The event will take place at Jalan Menggris, Taman Sri Wangi, 93050 Kuching, Sarawak. Participants can find the location on Google Maps using this link.
"Given the limited duration and capacity, early delivery of recyclable items is encouraged," the Facebook post read.
The organisers reminded participants that in case of severe weather conditions, such as heavy rain and thunderstorms, the campaign may be cancelled for the safety of all involved.
