BATU PAHAT: Pieces of cloth found on human remains in an abandoned house in Kampung Batu 7, Tongkang Pecah here are most likely the clothes worn by Mila Sharmila Samsusah, 32, or Bella who went missing on Dec 14.
Her sister, Norhisham, 36, said her sister left the house at 11.40pm with her boyfriend, wearing a dark blue caftan.
"If you look at the pieces of cloth found on the remains, they are almost identical to what Bella was wearing the night she disappeared.
"However, I cannot elaborate further because this case is still under investigation and awaiting the results of the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) test.
"In any case, we hope that the skeleton is not Bella, I cannot accept the trauma she endured during the period of her disappearance," she said when met.
Yesterday, police found human remains with tattered pieces of clothing in an abandoned house at 2pm.
They were led to the location by one of the suspects. The identity of the remains have yet to be confirmed.
