KUANTAN: The anticipated Prosperity Run, part of the Pahang Karnival Rakyat 2024 festivities, is set to kick off on Feb 4, 2024, at Dataran Sayangi Kuantan.
Pahang Media, in a Facebook post on Jan 30, revealed that the event will begin at 7am, and will be about celebrating good health and community spirit while also marking a commitment to spiritual well-being.
Early risers have a unique opportunity to join the 'Subuh Warrior' programme, a group dawn prayer at the Sultan Ahmad 1 State Mosque in Kuantan before the race begins.
Participants can choose between a 5km fun run and a 10km challenge, catering to both the casual enthusiasts and the more competitive runners. For cycling aficionados, a 60km fun ride is on the cards, offering a scenic route likely to appeal to both local residents and visiting tourists. Those preferring a more measured pace can join the 5km brisk walk, ensuring that the event has something for everyone.
The Prosperity Run will also boast an array of lucky draws, promising exciting prizes and adding an element of anticipation to the day's activities.
