"All the cases are in stable condition, with 17 falling into Category Two, two cases in Category Three, and a case in Category Four.

"The Category Four case involved a senior citizen with hypertension.

"However the patient was discharged from Jeli Hospital yesterday (Saturday)," he said after visiting flood evacuees at SK Jeli 1 here yesterday.

Present were Health deputy director-general (Public Health) Datuk Dr Norhayati Rusli and Kelantan Health Department director Datuk Dr Zaini Hussin.

Dr Dzulkefly said 297 medical teams, 286 health teams, 102 mental health and psychosocial support services teams, and 286 health literacy promotional teams had been deployed to relief centres in flood-affected states.

"We are ready to despatch more teams there should the need arise."
