Rock Queen Ella to mesmerise fans in Kota Kinabalu

FOLLOWING the resounding success of her concert in Penang, where 14,000 fans gathered in October, Malaysia's iconic Rock Queen Ella is set to captivate music enthusiasts in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, on January 20. The highly anticipated concert, part of her 35th-anniversary Jilid Akhir Ella Puteri Kota series, will take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

Expressing gratitude for the unwavering support from her fans, Ella, whose real name is Nor Zila Aminuddin, stated, "Alhamdulillah, the solid support from fans has moved me to continue on this tour, and to satisfy everyone, we will head to Kota Kinabalu next. I can't wait to meet the fans and to entertain the 'urang' there."

The upcoming concert, themed Glam Rock, promises to be a two-hour extravaganza featuring 25 to 30 of Ella's evergreen songs. The 57-year-old artiste, renowned for her unparalleled contribution to Malaysian rock music, is diligently rehearsing with music director Datuk Acis while focusing on building up her stamina and health for the performance.

Ella's recent concert at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, earned her the title of "Most Tickets Sold in 24 Hours" in The Malaysia Book of Records, solidifying her status as the country's incomparable Rock Queen.

Rohit Rampal, founder and CEO of concert organiser Hitman Solutions, highlighted the tremendous success of Ella's previous concerts and emphasised the effort to cater to the demand of fans in Sabah. He stated, "To cater to the demand for her fans that were unable to catch her live in concert, Hitman Solutions has worked hard to satisfy rock fans in Sabah next."

Tickets for the concert are available for purchase online via www.hitmanlive.com or at all D'bundle Mania branches. Ella, who released her autobiography, Rockers Juga Manusia (Rockers Are Humans, Too), earlier this year, expressed her hope that the upcoming concert would bring happiness and thorough entertainment to her fans, creating beautiful memories for all. "Peace. Love. Rindu," she added.
