Kapar air crash: Remains of co-pilot brought home

KLANG: The remains of Roshaan Singh Rania, the co-pilot who perished in the Kapar light aircraft crash yesterday have been claimed by his family.

Following the completion of the post-mortem examination earlier today, Roshaan's remains were claimed from the hospital at about 3.08pm.

Checks by the New Straits Times (NST), it is learnt that Roshaan's remains will be brought to his family house located in Sunway Lenang Heights, Iskandar Puteri in Johor Baru. The cremation is tomorrow.

Roshaan's remains were accompanied by a police escort.

Roshaan, 42, was the co-pilot and one of two individuals who perished in the BK 160 Gabriel light aircraft crash near Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar, yesterday.

The other was identified as pilot Daniel Yee Hsiang Khoon, 30.

It is believed that Yee's remains will be brought back to his hometown in Penang.

Earlier, Klang Utara district police chief Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao confirmed that the post-mortem on the two victims had concluded, adding that multiple injuries sustained by the two victims were the cause of death.
