Two students die in motorcycle crash in front of Klang school

KLANG: Two students died in an accident in front of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bukit Kapar, Jalan Haji Abdul Wahid, about 10pm last night.

North Klang district police chief, Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao said both students, aged 15, died of head injuries.

Police said four motorcyclists were involved in the accident.

The remains of the two victims were taken to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for a post-mortem.

Police investigation revealed that both students were on two motorcycles and they were heading from Bukit Kapar towards Kapar at the time.

"The two motorcyclists collided with two other motorcyclists coming from the opposite direction in front of the school," he said in a statement today.

Police have yet to identify the other two motorcyclists, aged between 15 and 20, involved in the accident.

Vijaya urged the public to drive or ride safely and to follow traffic laws.

"People who witnessed the accident are advised to contact the traffic investigation officer Inspector Ahmad Fadzli Abdullah, at 017-5843860," he said.
