Meradong assemblyman gifts new printing machine to Bandar Bintangor school

BINTANGOR: Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing has provided a printing machine to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bandar Bintangor, in a bid to support educational efforts and administrative efficiency, the Sarawak Public Communications Unit reported.

The donation was made during a formal ceremony on April 18 (Thursday), where Principal Patrick Moses received the equipment on behalf of the school.

Ding also presented a special grant of RM1,000 to the women of Kampung Bintangor for their participation in a tug-of-war competition.

The day continued with engagements including a visit from the Parent-Teacher Association of SJKC Ming Shing, led by Principal Ngu Yii Lee, highlighting the community-focused approach of the assemblyman's office.

The evening was spent addressing local infrastructure issues, specifically a water leakage on Jalan Utama Kelupu Bintangor. Ding promptly inspected the site following complaints about water supply disruptions from local residents.
